Meet Cheryl
Pest in the Nest is created and illustrated by Cheryl Sands. Cheryl has combined her three passions - teaching, painting realist watercolours and taking care of our native birds - to create this game.
Cheryl's water colour paintings can be found in homes and galleries throughout New Zealand. This is also not the first card game that Cheryl has created, she also collaborated with her niece Cat to create the NZ Bird Edition of the Getting Lost Game in 2023.
When she's not painting and creating games, this 80 year old Great Grandma can be found in her Coromandel home surrounded by family and her husband Pete.

About Pest in the Nest
The object of the game is to collect a family of birds - a male, female, chick and nest, plus a food source.
Just like in the real world predators can steal a bird. But you can block them with rescue cards and save an entire family of NZ birds.
The first player to collect a family wins.
The game is being produced with the help of Kiwi game makers (and Cheryl's niece!) Getting Lost and will be produced to the same high standards as their games. Getting Lost will also ship your games to you so you can expect those to be with you in 1-2 days.
